Summer Dates for your Diary's

Dear All,

Here's to a very exciting next few weeks going into the summer Holidays for our school.

Students in the school have come back from the show totally buzzing and ready for the next challenge. Show pics and vids are nearly ready, watch this space.......

Kelfest 7th July 2024

Tarvin and Ashton Saturday School will be out performing at Kelfest again, this was a really lovely local event last year and we had lots of sunshine so fingers crossed. I know the children loved it therefore, we will be performing at 3pm 7th July 2024 Kelsall Park. This is a really funfilled family day out with all sorts of events happening throughout the day. I will ping you more details to follow for Kelfest costumes, meet time etc......

Exams

All students are working alongside rehearsals for their examinations - There will be a small session in September for the students going off to university Grade 5/6's and a full examination session early 2025 for the rest of the school.

Summer Schools

Finalised Dates for this years summer schools -

Week 1 29th July - 2nd August 24 - Charlie and the chocolate Factory 6years +

Week 2 - 12th - 216th August 24 - The Greatest Showman 10 years +

Summer school weeks are jam packed with tuns of dancing, singing, acting, set building, costume making and a spectacular show on Friday afternoon (2pm). The days are 9.30-4pm. Thursday Night Summer Classes

On request this year the school will be open Thursday evenings for students and Adults Grade 4 and above and Acro students all ages to keep our dance fitness over the summer holidays.

The timetable is as follows

5 classes 

25th July

1st/15th/22nd/29th August 

5-6pm Acro Training All Ages

6-7pm Modern Grade 4 upwards

7-8pm Tap (Tapathon) All Ages 10+

8-9pm Ballet Grade 4 upwards 

9-9.45pm Stretch/Tone and cool down

As you can see there is a session for Tap and I will be teaching the Tapathon routine in this session for all who would like to take part in the National Tapathon for Children in need. But it is ok just to come along and enjoy learning the routine.
